    The goal: to blend the homeowner’s penchant for minimalist design with the architectural integrity of their Oak Park home.  A new bright white ceramic console leg vanity evokes the period-style fixtures of the early 1900’s, while the travertine stone tile provides a stream-lined, modernist feel to the space.  The main shower walls are a smooth-texture travertine laid in a stack bond pattern, while an accent wall is made of the same stone in a contrasting “rock-face” texture.  A built-in shower bench behind the tub provides a place to relax, a new window offers extra light, and polished nickel hotel shelves provide extra storage for bathroom necessities.  A new floor plan maximizes the space.
